Who is the client?
Susan Sadler is an Executive Business Coach, specialising in communications related challenges. Based in Singapore, Susan works with coaching clients in China, India, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand and more.
What was the brief?
Susan was looking to modernise and simplify her existing website and branch out into social media, along with developing client relationships through regular coaching tips via email.
What was the solution?
We worked with Susan to reduce the wordy content on her existing site to simplify and strengthen her message, and recommended a YouTube channel for her video coaching tips, which would also be embedded on her website. The advantage of using YouTube as the delivery platform is threefold; reduced bandwidth loading of the main website, a vastly increased potential audience, and an additional opportunity to get the SadlerComm brand noticed as a source of excellent business coaching.
The new website was built to be mobile-friendly, improving its rating in searches on mobile devices. It was also optimised for Retina devices such as iPhones and iPads, which show much higher resolution images. Scalable vector graphics (SVGs) were used wherever possible, which remain sharp at any size.
Next, we set up an email newsletter template for Susan's coaching tips, and provided training via Skype (as she is based in Singapore) to enable her to produce future editions herself. Whenever a coaching tip email is sent out, it is automatically added to the website, saving Susan time.
Finally, we set up fully-branded Twitter and Facebook social media accounts, which Susan is now successfully using to gain a wider audience and new clients.
